Exhibition Identity Design
Challenge
Design a cohesive and impactful identity system for my senior thesis exhibition that could adapt across multiple formats — print, digital, and environmental — while representing the diversity of work in the show. I needed to find a way to incorporate feedback from three different department heads, all from different mediums.
Solution
I developed a bold, modular identity inspired by
Karl Martens. The system was applied across a wide range of collateral including posters, postcards,
motion graphics, signage, and large-scale environmental graphics. The final identity was flexible enough to
unify all exhibition materials while allowing room
for personality.
The Collateral
The marketing ranged from various different deliverables.
I was required to design postcards, social media posts of various formats, website banners, posters, a-frame signage, window signage, vinyl lettering, exhibition catalogs and more. Each of these objects all contained some form of the identity, creating a uniform feel across the board.
